Students studying the 2-year advertising course at RMIT are required to participate in at least one week of work experience every year.

HopeAD is pioneering a scheme called the Hope Comrade Program that offers university students 1 full week of work experience at HopeAD. The program aims to offer work experience for around 40 students a year.

HopeAD organizes and assigns each successful applicant with a weeks worth of work.

Students receive a brief that is tailored to the students strengths (that will be identified by their questionnaire: EG: If the student indicates they wish to pursue graphic design, they may be given a design task).

Briefs given to participants are related to HopeAD’s existing clients so a dedicated and competent approach to the week is expected. For this reason, participants will be expected to sign a HopeAD confidentiality agreement.

At the end of the week at 4.30pm the participating student will be required to present the results of their weeks work to the HopeAD team in the HopeAD boardroom.
